Senior geologist, specialized in Paleontology, with fifteen years of experience in field-based surveys, in both the private and public sectors.

At GeoSalazar, Christian is a chief paleontological consultant, focused on management and coordination of multidisciplinary environmental studies for major mining, energy, and infrastructure development projects.

His professional experience includes working at the mining industry, also at the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN), and at the National Geological and Mining Survey (SERNAGEOMIN). Currently, he carries out his professional activity as an academic and researcher, focusing his scientific career in the field of paleontology, stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, and paleoclimatology in the study of the Jurassic and Cretaceous basins of Chile.
